Come and spend a relaxing day with us learning how to draw the beautiful foliage and flowers that grow in our gardens and hedgerows. Drawing inspiration from the beautiful gardens at Canons Ashby, you will be able to roam the gardens and parkland and draw the foliage and flowers growing in the abundant beds and borders.
By looking at examples of Botanical Drawing through the ages, followed by detailed instruction and hands-on practice we will encourage you to develop your own drawing style.
If you already know the basics but would like an opportunity to brush up on your skills, or an excuse to spend a day with pencil in hand then this is the course for you! Or if you are a complete beginner with no previous drawing experience, but keen to embrace a new hobby and skill we will take the fear out of putting pencil, pastel or paint to paper!
