For much of the world, Bread in all of its various local and international guises has historically been the ‘staff’ that sustains and supports all of our lives.
With many global breads being unavailable in our local shops, this workshop will introduce you to a selection of more unusual breads from around the world .... from a Jamaican ‘Festive Bun’, a Swedish Lucia, a Challah to an African Maize flour bread!
The workshop will be run by Wendi Jarrett whose knowledge and experience as a nutritional health trainer combined with her passion for global cuisine and cookery provides a unique learning opportunity for you to expand your knowledge and skill of bread baking!
During this fun hands-on workshop Wendi will introduce you to a selection of worldwide breads, flours and natural, nutritionally-boosting ingredients that will transport you away from the modern day ‘artificially improved’ plastic-packaged ‘stuff’ to baking your own homemade bread for friends and family with a global taste and flavour!
