'Willow Plant Supports'

Tuesday 1 March 2011

With Bert Manton, a local country craftsman, sharing his skills and knowledge, we gathered for a morning to learn all the secrets of the traditional rural craft of making willow plant supports. By the end of the workshop, with a break for 'elevenses' of scrumptious cake, everyone had mastered their willow and completed their own plant support to take center stage in their garden this summer!

'Bouquets & Buttonholes'

at The Bell Platation, Towcester

Wednesday 16 February 2011

With many of our participants tasked with the daunting prospect of producing wedding flowers later this year, this was an inspiring morning learning how to create a beautiful hand tied bouquet and a series of gorgeous button holes that would definitely WOW all the wedding guests!!

'Building with Willow' Workshop Wednesday 9 February 2011

Fueled with homemade lunch and scrumptious cake, we spent the day in the woods creating a wonderful Willow Dome ... a fantastic outdoor room  where the children can play or a secluded retreat to quietly relax in with a glass of wine!

Spring Cupcakes

Wednesday 2 February 2011

With Sarah Hollowells (Goody's Cake Co) excellent tutoring and guidance, we spent the morning creating a spectacular selection of Spring Cupcakes to celebrate Valentines Day, Mother's Day, Easter and St. Patrick's!

Hedgerow Harvest Workshop

September 2010

Starting the day with a tasting session of a wonderful array of homemade hedgerow treats, this was a fun day learning how to turn the fruits of the hedgerow into tasty produce to fill your larder or fabulous decorations to adorn your table!
