Sarah Ingham Clark has long been a devotee of all things French. As a child she holidayed in France soaking up the culture and the language and as an adult has lived there with her children in total immersion.

Now returned to these shores she keeps alive her experiences of France by cooking delicious, informal meals for family and friends who always come back for more.

“If ever I feel sad I just cook my way out of it!” says Sarah, “I like to use good fresh ingredients with lots of flavour. The French still cook very seasonally so what you see in the local markets is what you should find on the plate.”

Her enthusiasm is infectious. As well as cooking she loves eating and has eaten her way across France sampling the best restaurants she could afford while living in a tent. She has even been a ‘secret eater’ for a string of gourmet pubs in the Midlands giving feedback on their dishes. The perfect job for a foodie!
