Floristry Workshops at Bay Tree Cottage

Whatever flower arranging course you choose, the atmosphere in our workshops with local florist and qualified tutor Linda Seabrook is always relaxed. We cater for all levels, making them perfect for hobby florists, recreation and fun!
*New* Floristry for Beginners Full Day Workshop – Thursday 1 March, 9.30am-3pm (£95pp) If you would like to be able to design flowers for your own home, friends or family, this is the course for you! You’ll learn how to condition flowers for a longer vase life and discover all the basic skills and techniques you will need to create a range of contemporary and traditional floral arrangements and displays.
Wedding Flowers – Saturday 17 March, 10am-3.30pm (£95pp) If you are considering making arrangements for your own or a friend’s wedding, this course is ideal. You will create a range of bouquets, posies, buttonholes and corsages in a variety of styles and leave with inspirational ideas for pew ends, chair backs and table decorations.
Easter & Spring Flowers – Tuesday 27 March, 9.30am-12.30pm (£48.50pp) Work with the flowers of the season including tulips, hyacinths, daffodils and irises to create some beautiful displays, perfect for Easter and Mother’s Day.
Flowers for Parties & Events – Saturday 12 May, 10am-3.30pm (£95pp) If you are having an event or party and want to amaze your guests with stunning flowers we can show you how to create beautiful arrangements for any occasion.
Floristry for Beginners (Spring) Evening Workshop – Wednesday 23 May, 7-9.30pm (£37.50pp) Our series of quarterly evening workshops starts in May. We will take the fear out of flower arranging and show you how simply it can be done!
