If you’re inspired by the increasing number of artisan cheeses that are now available to buy and would like to try your hand at making your own, join us for this fascinating workshop where you can learn the art of home cheese and butter making.
Following an introduction to the basic principles, tutor Neil Clark will explain and demonstrate ways of separating cream from whole milk as you churn some butter yourself. You will also be guided through the cheese making process as you make a Cheshire type hard cheese, using a traditional farmhouse method, and a soft curd cheese. Refreshments are provided throughout the day, including a delicious homemade lunch.
The number on this workshop will be limited to a maximum of 8 people.
