Come and join us for this evening workshop and discover the simple and traditional pleasure of making your own Christmas pudding and mincemeat to enjoy during the festive season.

‘Stir-up Sunday’ (which this year falls on Sunday 24 November) is the traditional time to make your homemade pudding and mincemeat, with everyone in the family taking a turn at stirring the pudding mixture whilst making a wish, so come along and learn the secrets of success!

We will show you how to make the perfect pudding and then it will be your turn to put on your apron, roll up your sleeves and have a go! After that, we will share a few of our trade secrets so you can make your own delicious Christmas mincemeat. And, of course. we’ll have a selection of traditional mince pies and a few other Christmas treats for you to try …washed down with a festive glass of mulled wine! By the end of the evening, after a step-by-step demonstration and with recipe sheets to hand, you will be totally equipped and ready to make your own goodies at home on ‘Stir-up Sunday’!

You will be required to bring your own ‘drunken fruit’ (details will be given ahead of the workshop) and we’ll supply the rest. What a wonderful way to kick-off the festive season!
