Now in its seventh year, the Curry Club at Bay Tree Cottage in Farthingstone has become a regular fixture in many people’s diaries! Held on the first Friday of every month (unless stated) our tutor Rashmita Shah will share her culinary skills and passion to show you how to prepare and cook a different dishes with accompanying side dishes and breads, using a range of both dried and fresh spices to create distinctive regional food from a specific area of India or the world!

This month we are travelling to Thailand for an evening of authentic Thai cuisine! So, if you love Thai food then here is your chance to learn how you can create your own, with all its wonderful flavours, in your own home! Discover how to make a Thai Green paste and balance the hot, sour, sweet, salty and savoury flavours which are so important in Thai cuisine. Once the paste is made, it will be used to make Thai green curry and rice cakes served with steamed rice and a traditional Thai salad, finishing with sticky rice pudding. But don’t expect Rashmita to do all the work!

With audience participation definitely encouraged, be prepared to roll up your sleeves and get involved with this hands-on cookery tutorial! With comprehensive recipes and cooking instructions, you will then be able to recreate at home to WOW your friends and family!
