Join experienced forager Richard Mawby for a relaxing stroll through the Northamptonshire countryside and discover the abundance of edible spring plants, herbs and foods that can form a healthy addition to your diet.

With an emphasis on reconnecting with nature and stimulating awareness of wild food, Richard will start the workshop with an introduction to foraging and some background on his lifestyle which incorporates not only wild food but also self-sufficiency and raw natural eating. Then it will be time to don our wellies and take a walk to see what we can find!

During the walk, you will learn how to confidently identify several edible plants and will be introduced to many more.  After our foraging is complete, we will head back to Bay Tree Cottage where Richard will show you how your foraging finds can be incorporated into your meals, adding a pure and natural flavour.

The number of people on this workshop will be limited to 12.
