- Equal Quantities of Blackberries and Elderberries
- 3/4lb of sugar per 1lb of berries
- Place the berries in a large jam pan and bring slowly to the boil. Simmer for 20 minutes.
- On a low heat add the sugar and constantly stir whilst increasing the heat until the sugar has dissolved.
- Bring to the boil until the setting point is reached (which will take about 20 minutes). Leave for 5 minutes.
- Put in warmed jars and store ready for use.
